Yesterday we went to have professional photos done. Logan was a bit cranky but we managed to get some great family photos. We really wanted to have this time documentd in photos because our little man is growing like a weed. He is definately developing his own personality. He does alot of cooing and smiling, but he does have his mommies temper and can scream when he is unhappy. Hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Logan is 9 weeks old this week, how time flies!!!! He is changing every day. He is smiling alot more now and once in a while he giggles. He is holding his head up most of the time without assistance and is looking all around. He is getting more on a schedule now and has started to take 3 naps daily. He loves to take baths and splashes and kicks in the water. Last night he was on his belly on the sofa and really angry because he was tired and he rolled over to his back. We were able to catch it on video.

Check up
Well Logan went to the pediatrician on Friday August 8 and had his 2 month check up. He is tipping the scales at 10lb 10.5 oz and is 22 inches long. He is doing well other than the reflux and we started him on new medication for that after the appointment. The medicine seems to be helping a bit better than the last medicine, alot less spitting up. He got 4 shots and an oral immunization on friday so I felt so bad for him, not sure who cried more, Logan or mommy. He is sleeping better at night, usually between 6 and 7 hours then he wants to eat and goes back to sleep for 2 to 3 hours again before getting up. We are trying to get some type of routine since mommy will be going back to work in a few weeks :( and Logan will be going to day care part time when daddy is working too.

Our first try
This is our first try at blogging. We are trying to chronicle our lives with our new addition, Logan. Logan is 8 weeks old now and time is sure flying by quickly. Starting at the beginning, Logan Palmer Cupples arrived by c-section on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 3:19 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. We were a little surprised that he was not bigger according to Dr. Patriarcos prediction with measurments. He entered our lives screaming and healthy!!! Our stay in the hospital was pretty uneventful and we were introduced into sleepless nights pretty quickly since the nursery was full and Logan roomed in with us. He came home on Friday, June 13, 2008 and met his furbaby Ivy for the first time. She was not quite sure what to do with him and would get a bit frantic whenever he cried. Things have gotten quite a bit better since then, she has become somewhat of a protector and gets upset if you do not pick him up as soon as he starts to cry. He is growing so quickly and changing everyday. We look at him and try to figure out who he looks more like, we have decided that he has traits from both of us that we can recognize. We are over the moon in love with this little man.
