Happy Birthday Logan

Happy first birthday to our sweet little boy. A year ago we were blessed with this little miracle that made us mommy and daddy. It is hard to believe that in one short year our little 8lb 9oz bundle of joy has become a such an adorable little boy that amazes and amuses us every day. He is starting to say more words and is walking one handed. He crawls all over the house looking for what he can get into next, never realized just how quickly such a small thing can move or how quickly trouble can be found!!!!

We celebrated Logans birthday by going to the Philadelphia Zoo. He really enjoyed the giraffes and the monkey house. We took him on his first carousel ride, not sure if he enjoyed it or not!?! Had beautiful weather, not too hot and a bit overcast. We all had fun celebrating together. We had his first party on Sunday and some of Logans little friends were able to come over. He was a little leary of his birthday cake but realized it was fun to play in it. He has slowly been exploring all of his new toys, guess it is time to put away the "baby" stuff.
It has been an exciting first year.

The time has gone so quickly it is hard to imagine that he is already ONE!! Looking forward to all the new and exciting things to come in the next year.

Happy Easter

Logan has been growing by leaps and bounds in the last few weeks. He had his 9 month well baby check on Friday and tipped the scales at 19 lbs 13 oz and was 27 inches long. Unfortunately he also was diagnosed with two ear infections. He has been acting normal so we were quite surprised by this. Last Monday he started to crawl on his hands and knees, he tends to army crawl more because it gets him where he wants to go faster :) He has started to pull up on the furniture and cruise around. Won't be long until he is off and running. He is babbling all the time, it is really funny because he becomes so animated with his facial expressions. We went to visit the Easter Bunny yesterday and went to have his Easter pictures done with the real bunnies. Logan was such a good boy for both, smiling and happy the whole time.

Just stopping by

Just stopping by to give a quick update on Logan. He is growing so much and has his two bottom teeth. He is loving eating his cheerios, yogurt melts, waffles and puffies. He is just starting to try to crawl, he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks and then just falls and carpet surfs around, mostly in reverse :) All I can say is look out Ivy when he can actually determine direction :)

He does like to look out the windows and he likes to stand anywhere that he can hold on. He started to regularly say dada and IyeIye and bababa, but still no real mama, guess that will come soon enough.

His favorite book is Charlie monkey, we read it every night and it just makes him smile the whole time. For valentines day we went to build a bear and made him his own Charlie to love

Eagles fan

Just wanted to post some pictures of our little Eagles fan. Logan wishes that the team would have gone all the way for his first Super Bowl but he is still one of their biggest fans.

Logan is just getting over his third ear infection since the beginning of December and just got over the stomache virus that went through our whole house. Hoping the rest of the winter is event free and he stays healthy.

Christmas

Hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. We are truely blessed that we were able to spend the holidays with family and our little man. Logan had so much fun with the paper and boxes. Ivy was more than happy to help him open his presents.

Logan had fun playing with his cousin Alicias hair. While she was laying there with him she noticed that his first tooth had popped through. Merry Christmas Logan, Santa brought you one of your two front teeth :)

We wish all of you a happy healthy new year. We are blessed to have such a wonderful family and such great friends.

Fall adventures

Just wanted to share fall photos of our handsome little man. It is hard to believe that 5 short months ago he blessed our lives. He is so much fun to play with and love and his smile just melts our hearts. He is a happy baby most of the time and has become quite the flirt with the girls.

We can't believe that our little man is already 5 months old, where does the time go? Logan and Ivy have become fast friends, he finds her very amusing and laughs when she just walks by.

Logan has started to eat cereal, fruit and veggies and is loving it!!!! Sometimes his bib is just as well fed as he is :)

He was rooting for his home team

Logan had his first halloween parade at daycare and he was with his friend at school. Gabrielle and Logan are always playing together at daycare, they are so cute together, two peas in a pod.
