Christmas

Hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. We are truely blessed that we were able to spend the holidays with family and our little man. Logan had so much fun with the paper and boxes. Ivy was more than happy to help him open his presents.

Logan had fun playing with his cousin Alicias hair. While she was laying there with him she noticed that his first tooth had popped through. Merry Christmas Logan, Santa brought you one of your two front teeth :)

We wish all of you a happy healthy new year. We are blessed to have such a wonderful family and such great friends.

Fall adventures

Just wanted to share fall photos of our handsome little man. It is hard to believe that 5 short months ago he blessed our lives. He is so much fun to play with and love and his smile just melts our hearts. He is a happy baby most of the time and has become quite the flirt with the girls.

We can't believe that our little man is already 5 months old, where does the time go? Logan and Ivy have become fast friends, he finds her very amusing and laughs when she just walks by.

Logan has started to eat cereal, fruit and veggies and is loving it!!!! Sometimes his bib is just as well fed as he is :)

He was rooting for his home team

Logan had his first halloween parade at daycare and he was with his friend at school. Gabrielle and Logan are always playing together at daycare, they are so cute together, two peas in a pod.

Pumpkin Patch

Today was a beautiful day and we decided to take advantage of the sunshine and warm weather to take Logan to pick his first pumpkin at Seiples farm. He had alot of fun posing for pictures and it seemed that every time we went to take his picture a crowd formed to oohh and aahh over him. He was very happy for most of our adventure

Baptism Day

Logan was baptised on Sunday September 14. It was a beautiful day, although a bit hot in church since it was 85 degrees and 95% humidity. We all had a good time after church at home for a picnic lunch and family time. Logan woke up that morning with his first cold so he was a little under the weather but still was quite handsome in his outfits. Aunt Val and Aunt Christina are Logans Godmommies and he loves them very much and is so happy to have them play a special part in his life.

Logan's first day of school

Well Logan went to daycare for the first time on September 11. Mommy dropped him off at 7:30 and picked him up at 4:45. The teachers said that he had a good day and only cried a little. I think that mommy cried and daddy worried more than Logan did. He looked very handsome to meet all his new friends.

Pool Adventures

Logan went in the pool for the first time 2 weeks ago and again last week. The pool water temperature was in the high 80's and he really enjoyed splashing around. He always enjoys taking his baths so we were glad that he also enjoyed swimming in the pool. Alot is going to happen this week, mommy is going back to work this week and Logan will alone with daddy on Tuesday for the whole day and he will start daycare on Thursday. We are also having Logan christened on Sunday with a get together after. The days go by so fast it is hard to believe that Logan is already 3 months old!!

Photos

Yesterday we went to have professional photos done. Logan was a bit cranky but we managed to get some great family photos. We really wanted to have this time documentd in photos because our little man is growing like a weed. He is definately developing his own personality. He does alot of cooing and smiling, but he does have his mommies temper and can scream when he is unhappy. Hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Logan is 9 weeks old this week, how time flies!!!! He is changing every day. He is smiling alot more now and once in a while he giggles. He is holding his head up most of the time without assistance and is looking all around. He is getting more on a schedule now and has started to take 3 naps daily. He loves to take baths and splashes and kicks in the water. Last night he was on his belly on the sofa and really angry because he was tired and he rolled over to his back. We were able to catch it on video.

Check up

Well Logan went to the pediatrician on Friday August 8 and had his 2 month check up. He is tipping the scales at 10lb 10.5 oz and is 22 inches long. He is doing well other than the reflux and we started him on new medication for that after the appointment. The medicine seems to be helping a bit better than the last medicine, alot less spitting up. He got 4 shots and an oral immunization on friday so I felt so bad for him, not sure who cried more, Logan or mommy. He is sleeping better at night, usually between 6 and 7 hours then he wants to eat and goes back to sleep for 2 to 3 hours again before getting up. We are trying to get some type of routine since mommy will be going back to work in a few weeks :( and Logan will be going to day care part time when daddy is working too.

Our first try

This is our first try at blogging. We are trying to chronicle our lives with our new addition, Logan. Logan is 8 weeks old now and time is sure flying by quickly. Starting at the beginning, Logan Palmer Cupples arrived by c-section on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 3:19 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. We were a little surprised that he was not bigger according to Dr. Patriarcos prediction with measurments. He entered our lives screaming and healthy!!! Our stay in the hospital was pretty uneventful and we were introduced into sleepless nights pretty quickly since the nursery was full and Logan roomed in with us. He came home on Friday, June 13, 2008 and met his furbaby Ivy for the first time. She was not quite sure what to do with him and would get a bit frantic whenever he cried. Things have gotten quite a bit better since then, she has become somewhat of a protector and gets upset if you do not pick him up as soon as he starts to cry. He is growing so quickly and changing everyday. We look at him and try to figure out who he looks more like, we have decided that he has traits from both of us that we can recognize. We are over the moon in love with this little man.
